TN in last four

Dindigul: Rani Prasanna’s goal in the 38th minute helped last year’s runner-up Tamil Nadu defeat Goa 1-0 for its third win to top the Group ‘B’ league in the sixth junior girls’ National football championship here on Monday.

Tamil Nadu qualified from this group for the semifinals as the first team with an all-win record and Goa, losing only to Tamil Nadu, qualified as the second team.
