WARANGAL: The district police arrested two persons for allegedly trying to supply arms to the Prathighatana group of naxals and seized six country made revolvers and 20 live rounds of ammunition from them. Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Superintendent of Police Soumya Mishra announced one Oruvala Raju of Thirumalagiri village of Regonda mandal and another Sikinder Singh of Barbil district in Orissa were arrested and weapons were seized from their possession. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
