Missing boy found dead in a drain near his house

HYDERABAD: A four-year-old boy Simhadri, who was missing for the last four days, was found dead inside a drain beside his house at Hayatnagar on Wednesday.

The boy was a student of the local Anganwadi centre at Kalanagar near Pasumamula village.

His father Lingam is an auto-rickshaw driver.

The police believe the boy might have accidentally slipped into the drain.

The boy was last seen on the afternoon of December 1 playing with other children near his house.

The highly decomposed body suggested that he died four days ago.

A case of suspicious death was registered.
