Bristol-Myers to lay off 4,300 workers, close more plants

First Pfizer, then Merck, and now Bristol-Myers Squibb plans to cut jobs. The company on Wednesday said it would lay off about 4,300 employees and close more than half of its manufacturing plants in a broad restructuring aimed at cost saving of $1.5 billion by 2010.
