BMEMHS, KEBHS post wins

HUBLI: Basel Mission English Medium High School (BMEMHS) and K.E. Board’s High School (KEBHS) Dharwad won their matches in the under-17 KSCA inter-school cricket league (Dharwad Zone) here on Thursday.

BMEMHS defeated J.K. English Medium High School (JKEMHS) by eight wickets, while KEBHS prevailed over SWR Women’s Welfare Organisation School (SWRWWOS) by an identical margin.

The scores: JKEMHS 90 in 24.4 overs (Ravikiran three for 10, Bharat Itagi three for 38) lost to BMEMHS 91 for two in 13.2 overs (Bharat Itagi 36); SWRWWOS 80 in 32 overs (Shyamsundar Patil four for 32, Shreyas three for four) lost to KEBHS 81 for two in 17.5 overs; REMHS 204 in 38.5 overs (Kiran Deshpande 50, Ramchandra Hegde 46) bt AUHS 112 in 28.3 overs (Malik Shirur five for 15). — Staff Correspondent
