NEW DELHI: The Central Bureau of Investigation has conducted searches at the residential premises of four Municipal Corporation of Delhi engineers and the owner of a construction firm following registration of a case of cheating the civic agency of Rs.54 lakh in 2005-07. On pretext of development of parksAccording to a CBI release, the investigating agency registered a case on Wednesday against Executive Engineer D.D. Dhandha, Assistant Engineer A.K. Jain, Junior Engineers S.S. Chikkara and Rajesh Sharma of Rohini Zone, and Satbir Singh, owner of Satbir Construction. It is alleged that they entered into a conspiracy to swindle Rs.54 lakh on the pretext of development of parks, including fixing iron grills at MCD parks in Rohini Sector 16, without executing the works on the ground.
