NEW DELHI: The Delhi Catholic Archdiocese has alleged that some people attacked a church site at Pitampura here on Wednesday. Morning attackTwo persons were injured in the incident. According to Delhi Catholic Archdiocese spokesperson Dominic Emmanuel, the incident took place around 7 a.m. when the assailants entered the Church of Divine Mercy and destroyed the under-construction site. They allegedly broke a power generator and some machines. The mob allegedly roughed up the site foreman and threatened him with dire consequence if the construction work continued. FIR lodgedThe Parish Priest, Father Alphonse D’Cruz, has lodged an FIR with the Pitampura police and sought protection.
