Suspected LeT militant killed in encounter

SRINAGAR: A suspected Lashkar-e-Toiba militant was killed in an encounter with security forces in Bandipora district on Friday, police said.

Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of police and 13 Rastriya Rifle killed one militant, believed to be the member of LeT, in an encounter at Dalwath in Sumbal area of Bandipora district, Sumbal Deputy Superintendent of Police Harmeet Singh said. - PTI
