BANGALORE: While the Mangalore-Yeshwantpur Express was flagged off with much fanfare in Mangalore by Railway Minister Lalu Prasad on Saturday, its pairing train quietly left Yeshwantpur at 7.45 p.m. on Saturday. A senior South Western Railway official told The Hindu that there was full occupancy on the maiden train. Normal operations from Mangalore will start from Sunday night. — Staff Reporter © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
