N.K. Thakkar, Lion English post wins

Dharwad: N.K. Thakkar High School, Chinmaya Vidyalaya and Lions English Medium High School (LEMHS) won their respective matches in the KSCA’s Dharwad Zone under-17 inter-school cricket tournament matches held at Hubli and Dharwad on Monday.

The scores: SWRWWO HS 130 all out in 39.4 overs lost to N.K. Thakkar HS 131 for two in 16.3 ovrs (Shreyas Mugali 58 n.o.).

Anglo Urdu School 91 all out in 28.1 overs (Raghavendra Savanur three for 17) lost to Chinmaya Vidyalaya 93 for five in 17 overs (Sriniketan Puranik 35 n.o.).

LEMHS 223 for seven in 40 overs (F.M. Patil 37) bt St. Michael’s School 109 all out in 23.1 overs (P. Akshay six for 25).
