Pamphlets on rural job Act distributed

CHENGAM: A total of 10,000 pamphlets to create awareness of the National Rural Employment Guarantee (NREGA) Act and Right to Information Act were distributed by Congress cadres in and around Chengam in Tiruvannmalai district on the occasion of 62nd birthday of party president Sonia Gandhi. In Chengam, the pamphlets were distributed by panchayat union chairman G. Kumar. Mr. Kumar said the NREGA was first introduced in the country in 200 districts. Now the programme has been introduced in all the 612 districts in the country.
