Sundram Fasteners acquires UEL

CHENNAI: Sundram Fasteners Ltd. (SFL) has acquired 100 per cent equity shares in Upasana Engineering Ltd. (UEL). UEL is a step-down subsidiary of Sundram Fasteners Investments Ltd., a wholly-owned subdidiary of SFL. In a notification to the Bombay Stock Exchange, SFL said the acquisition was done at a cost but did not mention the figure. — Special Correspondent
