Match ends in tie

HUBLI: The match between St. Michael’s HS and SSK Sri Ram School in the KSCA’s Dharwad Zone under-17 inter-school cricket tournament ended in a tie on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Pavan English Medium HS and Basel Mission English Medium HS won their matches against Anglo Urdu School and Fatima HS respectively.

The scores: Anglo Urdu School 73 in 27.5 overs (R.P.K. Karthik five for 8) lost to PEMHS 74 for five in 14.1 overs (Raheem three for 10).

Fatima HS 69 in 16.2 overs (G. Ravikiran five for 14, Bharat Itagi three for 34) lost to BMEMHS 70 for one in 6.3 overs (Bharat Itagi 33 n.o.).

St. Michael’s HS 151 in 29.3 overs (Sumit Kulkarni 33, Tulsidas Katigar four for 29, Shyam Dani four for 35) tied with SSKSR HS 151 in 30. 4 overs (Ananth Patil 38, Keertish Bafna four for 23). — Staff Correspondent
