Chain snatched

Two persons on a motorbike allegedly snatched a gold chain, weighing a sovereign, from a girl on Melur Road in Srirangam. Police said D. Indirani (18) was returning home on a bicycle when the incident occurred.

The chain-snatchers escaped. The Srirangam police have registered a case.
