CHENNAI: Speakers at a function, organised by the Presidency College Alumni Association here on Wednesday, felicitated G. Masilamani on his appointment as the Advocate-General of Tamil Nadu. They said the college had produced several leading personalities, and Mr.Masilamani was one among them. He was unassuming and lovable. Presiding over the function, former Judge of the Madras High Court S. Jagadeesan, who was also vice-president of the association, recalled his long association with Mr. Masilamani since their college days and said the Advocate-General was a good orator in Tamil and English. He appreciated Mr. Masilamani’s ability to prepare, draft and present facts of the case boldly.
