CPI city secretary K. Subba Raju on Saturday demanded that the State government constitute petroleum corporation on the lines of the Gujarat and Maharashtra Governments and lay pipelines in Krishna-Godavari basin. Mr. Subba Raju said it was the need of the hour to revive gas-based power plants, fertilizers unit in Ramagundam and other units that required natural gas.
