TIRUCHI: The Tamil Nadu Board of Continuing Education (TNBCE) has launched a membership drive inviting individuals and associations engaged in non-formal education in the State to join the Board. The organisation founded by educationist Malcolm S. Adiseshaiah in 1975 is committed to promote the spread of non-formal education in the State. General membership is open to individuals and associations. Membership is free. From among the general members, a Council consisting of president, treasurer, secretary, joint secretary and not more than 25 members shall be elected for a three year term, the Board’s Honorary Secretary Raja Mutthirulandi said in a Press release. Individuals and associations desirous of joining the board can contact the Secretary of the Board. Filled-in forms with supporting documents should be submitted to the secretary before January 12.
