Sub-registrars seek fair deal

VIJAYAWADA: Sub-registrars in the State have decided not to register the lands belonging to the government or the Wakf Board, or the ceiling and assigned lands unless they are equipped with relevant documents attested by the Revenue Department. Addressing a meeting of the Andhra Pradesh Sub-Registrars’ Association here on Sunday, association general secretary D. Vishnuwardhan Raju lamented that sub-registrars were being made scapegoats in land scams.
