Jambagi Sharanappa is dead

DAVANGERE: Jambagi Sharanappa, former president of the Davangere City Municipality (now Davangere City Corporation) and senior Congress party leader, died of a heart attack at 9.30 a.m. here on Sunday. A large number of people visited his house to offer their condolences. Sharanappa is survived by wife and two sons. — Staff Correspondent
