Naxalite leader produced before court

Krishnagiri: Naxalite leader and State secretary of the CPI (Maoists) Sundaramoorthy was produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court-I here on Monday in connection with torching of a government bus on October 26, 1991. The Chief Judicial Magistrate G.P. Ilango posted the hearing to January 28. He was later taken to the Salem Central prison amid tight security. — Staff Reporter
