10 get life term for murder

Krishnagiri: The Krishnagiri First Additional District Sessions Court on Monday awarded life imprisonment to 10 persons for their involvement in a murder case. According to the prosecution, Annamalai (45) a fireman was hacked to death by a group of 19 persons in September 2003. Police arrested all the persons involved in the murder. One of the accused Marimuthu died during the trial. The Judge sentenced the remaining persons to seven years, three years and two years Rigorous Imprisonment. — Staff Reporter
