ICL’s 2008 calendar

PANCHKULA: The Indian Cricket League announced its calendar for 2008 with a high profile tournament in September as the highlight of the venture.

The ICL will organise a domestic tournament in February and a Twenty20 triangular series in February-March. A Twenty20 tournament involving eight teams will be staged in March-April.

A Twenty20 invitational tournament, again with eight teams, will keep the momentum going and the year will conclude with the second ICL in November-December. — Special Correspondent
