Rain in Nagapattinam

NAGAPATTINAM: After a gap of two days, several parts of Nagapattinam district including Nagapattinam, Vedaranyam, Porayar, Mayiladuturai and Sirkazhi areas experienced moderate rains on Monday. Fortunately, the rains came after the water stagnated in the samba paddy fields receded in the last two days.

Fishermen in all the coastal hamlets in the district have ventured into the sea as usual in the early hours on Monday following good weather in the last two days.
