Suresh stars in Rockers’ win

Udhagamandalam: D. Suresh Kumar picked five for 30 in Rockers Cricket Club’s five-wicket win over Rising Stars Cricket Club in the Canara Bank-NDCA ‘C’ division league for the Kairbetta Estates Syndicate Rolling Trophy at the Lawrence School grounds here on Wednesday.

The scores: Rising Stars 111 (D. Suresh Kumar five for 30) lost to Rockers CC 112 for five in 21.1 overs (Mithun Thomas 56).

The NDFA-Lions Club of Ooty Town second division football league matches scheduled at the HADP Open Air Stadium from December 21 to 23 have been postponed.
