National senior judo at Kochi

KOCHI: The National senior judo championship will be held at the Rajiv Gandhi indoor stadium in Kochi from February 14 to 18. Over 700 judokas representing 37 teams, including 30 States, will figure in the five-day event.

An organising committee, with Kerala Chief Minister V.S.Achuthanandan as the chief patron, S.K.Nair as the advisory chairman, C.J.Mathew as the chairman, A.Sreekumar as the general convener and Rajan Varghese as the organising secretary, has been formed for the event.
