Ramakrishna Mission remembers president

NEW DELHI: The 98th annual general meeting of Ramakrishna Mission was held at Belur Math in West Bengal this past week.

In a statement here over the weekend, Mission secretary Swami Shantatmananda said the governing body recorded with sorrow the demise of Swami Gahananandaji Maharaj, the 14th president of the Mission, on November 4. The Swami had worked for 27 years at Seva Pratishthan Hospital in Kolkata serving sick and suffering people.
