‘Maayavi’, the first-ever 3D serial, is all set to put you glued to the telly. For channel surfers bored to death with game shows, tear jerkers and half-baked comedies, there is something innovative on offer. The year end will see a different genre, sort of first in terms of quality and content, being beamed for them. Come December 30, Zee Telugu is all set to enliven the tube with a fantasy thriller that promise all ingredients to enthral and content that will keep you glued. ‘Maayavi’, the sci-fi thriller also happens to be the first-ever 3D serial and the channel is also in the process of distributing specially coated Anaglyph Glasses for the viewers. GadgetsThe plot revolves around a highly skilled and trained special agent of a secret organisation and comes equipped with special gadgets that enhance his combat abilities. Written and directed by R. Elavarasan, the racy thriller has the protagonist pitted against the evil men of the world and biting them to dust in action that gets spread over different locales. A Special Jury award winner at Seoul Drama Awards 2007, ‘Maayavi’ looks forward to offer a completely different viewing experience for the Telugu telly surfers with highly stylised presentation, glitzy setting and props. Catch up with the hero as he goes out to save the world from the evil designs of the villains. Zee Telugu which in its initial forays came out with few good innovations now seems to be concentrating its resources to climb further on the popularity charts. T.
