BANGALORE:The former Deputy Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah, dismissed his outburst against another senior Congress leader, M. Mahadev, in Mysore on Sunday as a mere media creation. Speaking to presspersons here on Sunday during the 519th Kanaka Dasa Jayanti celebrations, organised here by Kendra Kanaka Samithi, Mr. Siddaramaiah said: “There was no clash between me and Mr. Mahadevu. It was just an exchange of words. I had a chat with him later.” He said that he was not interested in caste politics nor did he know how to play it. Another Congress leader and former Minister H. Vishwanath said that every party will have problems, and that there was no big clash between the two Congress leaders in Mysore on Sunday. “It was a minor clash and it posed no big problem to the party,” he added. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
