Young man shoots himself dead

NEW DELHI: A young man allegedly shot himself dead at Shalimar Bagh here on Monday under highly mysterious circumstances.

According to the police, Raju, who worked as a trainer at a gymnasium, and his friend Deepak entered a house in AO-Block in the evening reportedly armed with a firearm.

When inhabitants of the house raised an alarm and the neighbours gathered at the spot, Raju shot himself in the head apparently in panic. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.

The inhabitants of the house, who are said to be known to the deceased, alleged that the duo had tried to rob them at gun-point.
