Revellers disrupt mass in church

Gaya (Bihar): Drunken revellers misbehaved with a Father at a church in Gaya district on Monday forcing suspension of the mass for an hour on Tuesday.

The two men, reportedly in an inebriated state, misbehaved with Father Nicholas Purty, Chief Priest of North India Church on Monday and again entered the premises on Tuesday to threaten the Chief Priest of dire consequences.

The duo, identified as Sanjay and Deepu, also dared Father Purty to file a case against them.

District Magistrate Jitendra Srivastava and Superintendent of Police Amit Jain reached the church and tightened the security in and around the premises.

Mr. Jain said a special task force has been formed to track the miscreants. — PTI
