NEW DELHI: A young man and an alleged accomplice have been arrested by the Badarpur police on charges of killing his fiancée on Tuesday. A hunt has been launched for the third accused. Reema went missing from her Badarpur residence on Tuesday, following which her father Ramesh Dhingra lodged a missing report with the area police station. Enquiries revealed that her fiancé, Pradeep Gulati, to whom she was engaged on December 3, had called her to a place in East Delhi for shopping. The police picked him up suspecting his involvement. During interrogation, Pradeep allegedly confessed to having killed Reema along with two of his friends. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
