Dancer dies

BANGALORE: Classical dancer Shanta Rao (81) died here on Friday following a cardiac arrest. She was a recipient of Padma Shri, Kalidasa and Shantala awards and also national and State Sangeet Natak academy awards. — Staff Correspondent
