UDHAGAMANDALAM: A sum of Rs.2 crore is being spent on developing the horticulture sector in the district during this year, said Nilgiris Collector Anandrao V. Patil at a grievances redressal programme here on Friday. There was adequate stock of vegetable seeds in godowns of the department and they were being sold at subsidised rates. The number of floriculturists participating in the auctions at the horticulture centre here was on the rise.
