IED found in bus in Digboi

Dibrugarh: A powerful improvised explosive devise (IED), left behind by a girl, was recovered from a bus in upper Assam’s Digboi in Dibrugarh district on Saturday evening, possibly averting a blast in the oil town.

The IED was sniffed out from an abandoned bag in a bus on Pengeri-Digboi bus at Digboi bus stand after passengers noticed the bag left behind by a girl, defence sources said.
