BANGALORE: Governor Rameshwar Thakur has conveyed warm greetings and good wishes to the people of the State on the occasion of New Year 2008. In a message, he said, “May the New Year be a harbinger of peace, prosperity and progress”, said an official press note. Union Minister of State for Shipping, Road Transport and Highways K.H. Muniyappa has also wished the people. “May this New Year bring health, wealth and prosperity,” he said. Former Chief Minister Dharam Singh, Chairman of the Legislative Council B.K.
