VIP guesthouse planned at Yadagirigutta

KARIMNAGAR: All measures are being taken for construction of 12-room VIP guest house at a cost of Rs. 1 crore in Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devasthanams in Yadagirigutta, according to Minister for Endowments J. Ratnakara Rao.

He told reporters here on Wednesday that the government was also taking steps for laying a second ghat road and also allocating a huge car parking lot to meet the growing demand of pilgrims.

He said steps were also being taken for construction of additional cottages and rooms with the assistance of TTD in Dharmapuri and Vemulawada temple shrines. TTD Chairman B. Karunakar Reddy and Executive Officer K.V. Ramana would be visiting Dharmapuri and Vemulawada temple shrines on January 19 to provide assistance for the construction of cottages and providing other facilities for the pilgrims.

He also said that an industrialist had come forward to construct 130 rooms for pilgrims at Bhadrachalam. Vemulawada Sri Rajarajeshwara Swamy Devasthanams chairman Adi Srinivas said that they would be taking up gold plating of the gopuram with TTD assistance.
