Bharath and Meera Jasmine, a still from the film, “Nepali” Chennai: Bharath started off with ‘Boys’ directed by Shankar. Then came Balaji Shakthivel’s ‘Kadhal’ and now he is doing ‘Nepali’ directed by V.Z. Durai of ‘Mugavari’ fame. Bharath, who is doing three roles–a young man, a prisoner and a Nepali–says all the three characters are different. “When director Durai told me the story I was completely mesmerised. The screenplay has been done really well.” Meera Jasmine, heroine of the film, performed her role really well, along with actor Sangeetha. Govind Namdev from Mumbai is doing an important role in the film. Most of the talkies portion has been completed with only the climax and songs remaining. Five songs have been tuned by Srikanth Deva. The dialogues have been penned by Pattukottai Prabhakar. The camera is handled by Mathi and the story, screenplay and direction are by Durai. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
