Red sanders seized

ANANTAPUR: The Tadipatri rural police on Sunday seized 445 cut logs of red sanders being smuggled in a lorry near Bugga, about 10 kms from Tadipatri, and confiscated the vehicle. The value of the previous wood was estimated to be about Rs. 20 lakhs.

The red sanders were being smuggled from Ontimidde in Kadapa district to Chennai.
