GEMS launches share mobilisation

MALAPPURAM: Global Education and Management Studies Cooperative (GEMS), a Rs.12-crore venture aimed at offering higher education in Mankada constituency, launched its share mobilisation. Manjalamkuzhi Ali, MLA, inaugurated the drive by accepting the first share from Vasudevan Namboothiri belonging to Poonkudil Mana. GEMS will begin its educational activities by launching an arts and science college at Mankada in the next academic year, said E.C. Kunhahamed, its secretary. — Staff Reporter
