Pulse polio drive

VISAKHAPATNAM: Mayor P. Janardhan inaugurated the pulse polio medical camp at Peda Jalarpeta in the presence of GVMC Commissioner Mukesh Kumar Meena area on Sunday.

During this round of pulse polio immunisation, out of the 12 lakhs city population, the target children between the age group of five numbering 1,32,000 will be administered the doses from Sunday to Wednesday.

There will be 23 medical officers and 50 sanitary inspectors supervising the programme.

The next mopup round is planned next month, said Dr. Bal B. Sundara Rao.
