Held for attack on lawyer

NEW DELHI: A 30-year-old man wanted in connection with a murderous attack on a former Ghaziabad Bar Association president, Rakesh Tyagi, has been arrested by the Delhi police.

Acting on a tip-off, a Crime Branch team laid a trap in the Civil Lines area over the weekend and arrested Parmit Singh alias Rinku. A .315 bore country-made pistol and three live cartridges have allegedly been seized.
