Pall of gloom descends on Mugada

VIZIANAGARAM: The body of Telugu Desam MLA Tentu Jayaprakash was placed in a state of rest at Mugada, his native village, in Badangi mandal for the people to pay last respects to the departed soul.

A pall of gloom descended on the village. The funeral will be held at the village on Tuesday.

Security in the village has been beefed up following the scheduled visit of party president N. Chandrababu Naidu and leaders of various political parties. Party district president Yadla Ramana Murty and other leaders reached Rajapulova junction on Vizianagaram-Visakhapatnam border and received the body that was brought in an ambulance from Hyderabad on Monday morning. _ Correspondent
