Sangareddy: Responding to news on the possibility of formation of a Second State Reorganisation committee, Telangana Rashtra Samiti Medak district president M. Raghunandan Rao said that his party vehemently opposes any such initiative by the Congress and demanded formation of a separate State without further delay. Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Mr. Rao termed it as yet another drama enacted by the Congress to procrastinate formation of Telangana State. He called upon leaders from the region to fight for Telangana without reference to SRC. Meanwhile, BJP activists burnt the effigies of the UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi in different parts of the district protesting the alleged efforts of the UPA to form second SRC. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
