BHUBANESWAR: Associate editor of Akhbar-E-Orissa Seikh Quresh was conferred with Maulana Sayed Mommed Ummar award for his contribution towards enriching and propagate Urdu language in the State.

City-based Cultural Sangam Academy also felicitated 26 other writers, researchers and journalists of Urdu language by recognising their achievement in the field.
