Dempo wins

Margao: Defending champion Dempo continued its unbeaten run with a 4-1 win over Churchill Brothers in its second leg match of the ONGC I-League, at the Nehru Stadium, Margao, here on Thursday.

Dempo scored through Edeh Chidi (45th), Ranty Martins (65th), Anthony Pereira (68th), and substitute Joaquim Abranches (injury time).

Churchill scored the consolation goal in the 85th minute through Mboya Iyomi. Dempo is at the top of the table with 24 points from 10 matches. — PTI
