SANGAREDDY: Evangelist K. A. Paul has said that he would build charity cities similar to the GUM (Gospel for Unreached millions) city in Sadasivapet in all constituencies of the State by the end of 2009. Addressing the press at the GUM city on Saturday, Paul said that he has donors all over the country to meet the Rs. 29,000 crore bill required to complete the project which works out to Rs. 100 crore per segment. He said that he had no dearth of funds despite of the Congress Government throwing a spanner in his Peace mission plans. “Now the Congress is reaping failure after failure in different states because of my prayer and curse” Paul said. Paul announced that he would field his candidates in almost all assembly segments in the ensuing assembly elections but he would not contest. Through the missionary network he has plans to set up three tier committees for preparations for the elections. Paul said that he had talks with Tollywood hero Chiranjeevi and Allu Aravind and said that the actor wanted three months of time to ponder on various options.Announcing support to formation of three separate states, Paul said that he stands for small states for better administration. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
