Vedike demands job reservations

BANGALORE: Hundreds of people under the banner of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike took out a procession in the city on Wednesday demanding job reservation for Kannadigas in the Railways and scrapping the ongoing recruitment of Group D employees in the Railways. The protesters, who were on their way to the Raj Bhavan, were stopped by the police near the Palace Road. Later, a delegation met Governor.
