BANGALORE: The Lokayukta sleuths on Wednesday caught an assistant horticultural officer in Kanakapura for allegedly receiving a bribe of Rs. 4,000 from an agriculturist. According to a press release, officer Krishnaiah demanded the bribe for issuing a cheque of Rs. 8,400, sanctioned by the government, towards agricultural subsidy.
