Power sector short of recruits

BANGALORE: Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Director-General of the Central Power Research Institute, on Wednesday, said the institute was hard-pressed for talented manpower. Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) Chairman and Managing Director R.P. Singh said all government organisations in the power sector were facing the same problem. Youngsters were being lured by private sector with fat pay packages, he said.
