Annual music competitions

Sri Sathguru Sangeetha Samajam, Purasawalkam, will conduct its annual music competitions (vocal) in Thyagaraja Kritis at 2 p.m on Sunday at Sri Ahobila Math School, West Mambalam. The contest will be held for general kritis and, Divyanama and Utsava Sampradaya Kritis. Students in the 8-12 age group could apply in the juniors category, while those in the 13-18 age group could apply in the seniors category, said a press release.
